The Omaha Chapter of HOPE Worldwide is requesting donations for our 5^th annual Hoop for HOPE 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, on Saturday March 27th 2010. Our vision, with help from people like you, is to become one of the largest non-profit tournaments in Nebraska in the years to come. All proceeds and donations collected for this event will benefit HOPE Worldwide with this year’s participants choosing the project our funds will help (i.e. Haiti, Post-Katrina, Native American Assistance, ect).

 HOPE worldwide is an international charity that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the poor and needy. HOPE worldwide does not shy away from large challenges. We are fighting the HIV/AIDS pandemic and its consequences in Africa and around the world, building a new health care system in Cambodia, providing homes and jobs for leprosy patients and their families ostracized in India, and increasing literacy rates in under performing U.S. schools. These complex challenges defy simple solutions and typically require new and innovative approaches, prompting us to develop “best practices” that have made HOPE worldwide a recognized leader in working to eradicate poverty and its effects.(hopeww.org Why HOPE worldwide.)

We are proud to support HOPE Worldwide, and hope you will too. We are requesting donations to help form prizes for our 1^st and 2^nd place teams in the tournament and any other donations towards HOPE. In the past we have had free food, car washes, gym memberships, and other merchandise donated. We understand the economic situation that our country is continuing to go through and we truly appreciate your support and consideration. We will recognize every sponsor on our website and again, thank you for your time and consideration. If your establishment could donate, your gift would be greatly appreciated.
